1975 Briefly Revisited: AotY

I'm offended no one ever told me how much KIϟϟ rocks.
Albums, Revisited
Here are 7 albums I like, that also could have been nominated for 1975's Album of the Year award.
Kiss, Kiss
I had no idea this is what Kiss sounds like. (It's only their debut album, so I guess there's some time for their sound to change.)
Pretzel Logic, Steely Dan
This is an enjoyable album.
Queen, Queen II
It feels like a lot of rock bands are really hitting their stride, right about now. Even just taking some of the bands from this list of albums... Queen, Kiss, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith... they're all getting their starts right about now, and they're all absolutely crushing it.
Anyway, Queen rocks, obvs.
Walls and Bridges, John Lennon
The Beatles' solo albums that I've heard, so far, feel like slightly weird Beatles albums. As in, "This doesn't sound like a Beatles album exactly, but it does sound like an album that was done by the Beatles..."
Kimono My House, Spark
Spark is wildly off-kilter and I love it.
Second Helping, Lynyrd Skynyrd
I still love that Southern Rock sound.
Get Your Wings, Aerosmith
Aerosmith was one of my first musical loves... happy to listen to some of their earlier work.
The current One Man Academy (OMA) project is listening to the Grammy's Album of the Year nominees and re-choosing winners, absent of historical context.
